HHA’s work under the guidance of an qualified RN and are given a Plan of Care customized to your needs.

As opposed to CDPAP, when receiving HHA services it is our responsibility to properly train and schedule your HHA in addition to managing your care.

HHA Enrollment Process

Schedule an assessment

Schedule an assessment with the Conflict-Free Evaluation and Enrollment Center (CFEEC) to ensure you meet the requirements to receive Managed Long-Term Care (MLTC). Enroll into a Managed Long-Term Care Plan of your choice (MLTCP).

RN visit

Have a RN from the MLTCP perform an assessment to create a personalized care plan for your needs. This includes the amount of home care hours you will be authorized for.

Receiving Services

Once you are enrolled into a MLTCP and receive your care plan you can begin receiving HHA services on the 1st day of the following month.

Frequently Asked Questions

HHA’s can be paid for through Medicaid, Medicare, private insurances and private pay.
You would need to be assessed by the CFEEC to see whether you qualify for HHA services. Regency can assist with scheduling this assessment.
You are able to appeal the decision, or you can schedule another assessment after 90 days. Regency can assist with either option.
Yes, with an easy phone call to your Case Manager at your MLTCP your services can be switched from CDPAP to HHA. Regency can assist you in switching the services.
